I think the creams turned out pretty well… and the littlest farmhand thought so too. He “sampled” some while I had my back turned. Unfortunately, he chose to put it in his hair…. (Why do babies always do that… put something messy in the one spot that will be the hardest to clean?!)… but I’ve read that oil is an excellent conditioner so I let him rub it in and then we styled it a little bit….
I think he bears a striking resemblance to Einstein, don’t you?
Lol! He does!!
ReplyDeleteCute! How do you make the hand cream?
ReplyDeleteWe got a laugh out of this! Jasmine, I was experimenting with recipes from the book "Natural Beauty at Home" by Janice Cox. I'll post more about how to make the lotions soon. =)
ReplyDeletehehe Too cute!!! Tatiana found a container of vaseline when she was about that age and smeared it all in her hair. It was greasy for a month! Ah, memories!
ReplyDeleteKaitlin got into the penaten cream once at that age. Now THAT was a tough clean up job!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have had intimate encounters with both vaseline AND penaten cream! You can't give them a bath when that happens because they are too slippery to hang onto in the bathtub! (That is the voice of experience talking!) So now I don't use bottom creams... I just let them run around bare-bottomed for a day if we have problems with rashes.
